Time to get Dirty!

This week our class spent an afternoon cleaning out the garden behind the school.   We knew it would be a great day when we looked in the garden and a monarch butterfly had just emerged from their chrysalis! We got started right away with; moving fences, pulling weeds, turning soil, moving rocks and uncovering benches.  We got a fabulous clue that the soil was rich because every 10 seconds someone shouted WORM!! Next week we will be planting some tulips and garlic.  Thanks to volunteers who came to help.
