Voracious Readers!

Our class has been talking a lot about becoming voracious readers!  We read a great book today about a first grader who is having a hard time finding a book she loves, but with the support of her librarian and her mom she finds a genre of books she loves to read.  She reads them over and over again to practice before she reads it to her class.  When you are a voracious reader your vocabulary and your fluency will dramatically improve.  This week we are keeping track of how many just right books we read each day as a class and our goal is to read more books than the day before.
