ECO

ECO (Educating Children Outdoors) began this week and it was a big hit. Amy Butler met with us and we talked about the 3 Cares which are: caring for ourselves, caring for each other, and our environment.

When we went outdoors we played Bear Tag.

We made clay face masks using objects found in the field and garden.

Jane Napier from the Kellogg-Hubbard Library visited Kindergarten and taught us some new bug finger plays and read us a rhyming bug story.

This afternoon we had a summer reading celebration with a story walk and Popsicles!

Next week our sharing topic is favorite books. On their sharing day your child may bring in their favorite story to be read to the class. If it is particularly long book we will read their favorite part.

Have a great weekend!
