This week we practiced reading to someone.  Ask your child to explain how this looks and sounds.  

We listened to stories about insects, wrote in our writing folders and journals, and s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out words to hear their unique sounds.

In math we worked on finishing up our counting books and practicing numeral writing choosing from a variety of activities.

Next week we will jump into the election frenzy by learning about the candidates and considering what we would do as president. Stay tuned!
