Good evening families,

What a fantastic start to the school year! Our class welcomed our new friend Kobe with open arms and he quickly became one of the family.  Today we spent a lot of time reviewing routines and procedures so our school day can run smoothly. Despite the weather we were still able to go outside three times today. Thank you for sending in jackets and boots so we could enjoy the outdoors.  

A couple of notes about today:

• ·         Tomorrow we will have a regular dismissal time (3:30).
• ·         I wanted to clarify dismissal time as it is always a little confusing at the beginning of the year.  Student will be dismissed from the classrooms this year.  They will call 1 group at a time (parent picks, U8 etc…) and they will walk down the hallway. The bell rings at 3:30 and that is when they will start dismissing kids from their classrooms. The buses typically leave at 3:40.
• ·         Thank you for all the pictures that have been sent/emailed to me about their summer adventures.  Keep them coming!
