Today was our pumpkin festival and I must say it was so much fun! We started off the morning by doing a variety of experiments with the pumpkins. We checked to see how much it weighed, does it sink or float, checking how long we could balance it on our head and even played pumpkin bowling. I think the real fun happened in the afternoon though. We took our pumpkins outside and LAUNCHED them off the slide to see who's would go the farthest. The class cheered their classmates on as they took turns. After we did some really races with our pumpkins and finished the afternoon of by rolling them down the hill. What a great day!
